Hi, Jennifer Liston here.

I was thrilled to do two poetry readings in Galway last week: one at the Roisin Dubh (4th November) and one at the Crane bar (9th November).

Both were well attended, and it was great to share the podium with such talented local poets, and with Canberra's own Tobias Manderson-Galvin, who is Munster Slam Champion 2009.

Many thanks to Kevin Higgins of Over the Edge, Laurie Leech and John Walsh for organising a slot for me at short notice.

Much appreciated...and I'll definitely be back in June next year to do another few readings. Perhaps even a book launch...

Here's what reader Sue Owen had to say about Jennifer Liston's poetry:

I purchased both of Jennifer's books and highly recommend them for both personal reading and also as gifts.

I thoroughly enjoy Jennifer's style of poetry. I particularly appreciated her unique infusion of personal moments into each of her poems.

Thank you Jennifer for taking the time to write so beautifully.

And thank you very much Sue for taking the time to give such lovely feedback.

You can buy one or both books from here securely and safely using PayPal.

Select the book(s) you want from the drop-down menu on the right hand side of this page, click the orange 'Add to Cart' button, and follow the prompts.

It's as simple as that!
We're currently planning and organising a promotional book tour for Jennifer Liston's second poetry collection, 17 poems: one for every year of innocence.

We hope that this will take place towards the end of the northern hemispheric summer: July, August, or September. Or maybe even October.

The author will travel to Ireland and read from and sign copies of her book at a few locations.

Stay tuned ... more information will be posted here as plans are confirmed.

Many also took the chance to buy copies of Exposure, Jennifer Liston's first poetry collection.

Guests were particularly excited about the bonus audio CD of the poet reading her poems.

And of course Jennifer was available to sign and personalise the copies.
